Massive fish kill makes a stink at the Jersey Bayshore
Hundreds of thousands of dead peanut bunker are washing ashore and into Waackaack Creek in Keansburg. Officials from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection say the fish kill is a natural event that occurs when high heat depletes the shallow creek water of oxygen.
