Scientific evidence shows that the Atlantic salmon populations in Spain are very reduced and in danger, reduction of fish habitat and overfishing are two of the main causes, for this reason the species is considered “vulnerable” by various controlling bodies such as the U.I.C.N (International Union for Nature Conservation)
