The impact a single image, whether moving or still, can be immeasurable. It’s not all that common that a national nonprofit chooses to not only recognize but encourage strong visual storytelling. Trout Unlimited, a national cold-water conservation organization, sees the value in connecting people to the work being done by so many across the country. That connectivity is where my job begins. Whether it’s decision makers, members, volunteers or federal agencies everyone understands a value of a place or species when they look directly into the heart and soul of an image. The opportunity to tell this story is important to me and for that I am forever grateful.
